Fear silences many, but Jesus gave us the authority to take righteous stands. Are you using His authority to stand for righteousness, regardless of the cost?
We fought as a nation for the right to vote and to stand for what is right. Yet today, many shrink back from defending righteousness, while those advancing what is wrong seem emboldened. As Charlie Kirk’s martyrdom shows, even Christians in America may face severe persecution and death for their convictions. This is not about political party or status—it is about taking righteous stands, whatever the cost.
This past weekend, I met with Lt. Governor Winsome Earle-Sears, her husband, and her team—leaders anchored in biblical convictions. When Richmond leaders later asked for the foundation of my stand, the answer came from Jesus himself: “All authority has been given to Me… Go therefore…” (Matthew 28:18–19).
Grateful for the leaders of Advance Church who rose early to seek God’s will. Let’s all resolve to stand boldly for biblical convictions.

Jesus, the Prototype: from Noah to New Creation

In Genesis, God grieved over a wicked world, yet Noah found favor through righteousness. This story points to a profound spiritual truth for us today.
Just as Noah was set apart, Jesus came as the "last Adam" (1 Cor 15:45) to bring forth a new humanity. Through faith in Him, you are a "new creation" (2 Cor 5:17), a citizen of a heavenly kingdom living on earth. He populates His eternal family not through natural means, but by His powerful Word.
This calling is not for a comfortable life, but a transformed one. God's will is for you to become heavenly on earth, modeling holiness for your family and in your leadership. Jesus is our prototype—He did only what pleased the Father, showing us what we are to become. Our authority to lead and guide others flows directly from our own example of obedience.

Public Persona vs. Private Reality. Do you have a public persona that's different from your private one?
I believe transparency is a foundation of leadership and integrity, starting with being honest about the condition of my own heart. The Bible advises us to confess our faults (James 5:16), but that is only the beginning. Some issues require more than a declaration; they demand sustained prayer until our personal will aligns with God's design. This life is our opportunity to choose that path—to cultivate a genuine relationship with the Holy Spirit rather than performing religion.
This principle of integrity applies most critically in our homes. Marriage is a covenant, a test of our obedience to God. Husbands are called to love their wives as Christ loved the church. Wives are called to submit as unto the Lord (Colossians 3), even when a husband fails. The tongue holds the power of death and life (Proverbs 18:21); our words can be more destructive than a physical blow and will shape the character of our children.
Instead of justifying broken commitments, we should first examine our own sin. Are you living for yourself or for Him? This life is about the next, and we are preparing now for what is to come.

You Will Go the Distance All the Way

Men, heaven is looking at you. The angels, the Holy Spirit, Jesus Himself—they are all invested in you. The Father’s will has been declared over your life, and the saints who have gone before are your witnesses.
Because you are under heaven's gaze, quitting is not an option. You made a covenant. It's time to get it right at home. Reject any thought of separation or divorce. Go to your wife, kneel, and serve her. Tell her you’re sorry. Restore your house.
Have you already divorced? Seek forgiveness and rise up. Don't let the world's thinking hold you back. Repent, get it right, and become the champion He has called you to be.
Say it with conviction: "I will go the distance." Heaven is counting on you. Your family is counting on you. Be the man of God for this generation.
