Your Wife Is Not Your Momma
Friday Oct 03, 2025
Friday Oct 03, 2025
Men, think about this. Is anything wrong with your marriage that's the result of your character being below the standard? In Genesis 2:21-24 the Bible says,“And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife.”Have you ever thought about this? God made man for Himself, but He made everything else for man. God made man to be like Him, but He left it up to man to shape and to form and to build the earth. Whatever the earth is like, whatever your wife is like, is not only a product of what God made her into. She's also now the fruit of what you're going to make her into. This is serious business. God says, "I'm making this woman. I'm bringing her to you." The man says, "Whoa! This is now bone of my bone." Look at that. She came from you. She's flesh of your flesh. She'll have your tendencies.Adam said, "Therefore shall a man leave his momma and his father." Wait a minute, Adam. There were no mommas and fathers. What was he talking about? The man had insight and foresight. He was a man of vision because there was no sin. There were no walls to block his revelation and his ability to see into the future. Now, this seemed kind of strange to me when the Bible says, "Therefore, shall a man leave his mother and father and cling to his wife." Since God made this woman and brought the woman to Adam, why didn't Adam say it this way--"Therefore shall a woman leave her mother and father and cleave to her husband"? When you look at the passage, the context seems to say that since God brought the woman as a help meet for Adam, why didn't she leave her momma and her daddy and cleave to her husband? After all, my wife is going to carry my name. But Adam said. "I will leave my momma and father." Why? Because Adam knew that in the minds of men in the future, a man would expect his wife to do for him what his momma did for him. His momma cleaned for him. His momma cooked for him. His momma washed clothes for him. Adam knew that a man wouldn't realize that when he refuses to grow up, when he refuses to be responsible, when he refuses to be mature, he then forces his wife to become his momma. And no man wants to make love with his momma. So, men, you and I are called in this hour to grow up. What do I mean? If she has to keep telling you--"Honey, did you remember to take the trash out? Darling, did you remember to get my car cleaned? Honey, did you remember you said you were going to repaint the house?"--Well, that's the same thing she has to do for her children. She has to keep reminding her children of things that that they have not done. Well, guess what? You can't be a boy all day long and all week long and at night become a man. You can't go up in there in the bedroom and say, “Honey, come on, girl. I'm seeing you, girl.” She's been used to treating you like a child. You're not all of a sudden going to become a man at night if you're a boy all day long.

Real Men Have the Character of God

Real Men Have the Character of God. We are witnessing something profound happening in the hearts of men today. This isn't a marketing campaign or a fleeting trend—it is a genuine move of God, calling men back to their original design.
Have you ever considered what man was like before the Fall? He was created in God's image, possessing the very character of God. This is why God could command him in Genesis 1:28 to "be fruitful and multiply." It wasn't just a call for biological children; it was a mandate to fill the earth with a character so righteous it was worth reproducing.
True character is defined by what you do when no one is watching. It's about establishing firm guardrails against compromise and lust, holding fast to integrity even when it's difficult. We all need accountability in this walk, because our principles can be tested.
Think of Joseph. When faced with intense temptation from Potiphar's wife, with no one else around, his first thought was, "How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?" His consciousness of God was greater than his fleshly desire. That is the standard.
I invite you to watch this message and reflect on your own walk. Are you cultivating a character that God would be pleased to reproduce? Share this with a man in your life who is also pursuing a life that honors God.

We Are the Generation of Revival

We Are the Generation of Revival.
God is on a ManHunt. He looks for a man who will stand in the gap for a world in desperate need of revival (Ezekiel 22:30). Are you the one? This man is bold, unashamed, and unafraid because he dwells in the "secret place of the Most High" (Psalm 91). He is under God's protection because his life is marked by the eternal qualities of faith, hope, and love.
So many men want to hear a soft message that the Lord wants to bless them, but that is not God’s word to men today. He says, “Where is the cross in your marriage? Where is faith unfeigned? Where is unconditional love? Where is giving yourself to your family? Where is standing strong for Jesus on your job?
“Where are the men of God called to preach like the Methodist circuit riders of the past? Who will disciple the young college students coming to Christ by the thousands and being baptized since the death of Charlie Kirk? Who will confront this divided Congress and bring them together in Christ?”
Men, this is our moment. In this Promise Keepers meeting, thousands of men came to the altar of surrender to confront their sins and make a new commitment as a godly leader in their home, church, workplace, and community. Will you pray this prayer with them?
"From this day forward, God, you can use me. I humble myself. I admit I'm not the person I should be. I admit I need to go to the altar. I admit there are sins in my life that have to be straightened up right now. I come to you, and I ask you, God, forgive me of my sins. I need you more than I ever needed you before. I don't want to put my dependence on man anymore. I want my dependence to be on God. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.”

I Feel Covered.
A man’s true leadership ability begins with inward transformation, not just external accountability. In this powerful message, we’re reminded that personal integrity shapes not only our own lives but also those we lead—our wives, our families, communities, and organizations.
Through a heartfelt story of authenticity and a biblical foundation from Genesis, Bishop Boone emphasizes the importance of running your house with vision, core values, and spiritual consistency. Leadership starts at home, and when you’re the “real thing,” you gain true authority and influence. He calls it “the run of the house.”
The question is: Are you leading with integrity and providing a godly covering for your wife? Let’s strive to be men who change others from the inside out.

Faithful in Secret, Fruitful in Life

Faithful in Secret, Fruitful in Life.
Men, can God trust you with strength and authority because you have a secret life with Him? Imagine the profound impact on your wife and children if you commit to being secretly devout and privately holy. Ephesians 6:10 calls you to the Lord’s standard of strength, to "be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might" (KJV). Equip yourself with truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God (verses 14-17), to stand firm and quench all the fiery darts of the enemy.
Every great move of God that results in cultural transformation started in the heart of one man fully dedicated to God who persevered in prayer. This dedication first shows itself in the home. If you’ve been with God in prayer and the Word, it should reflect in how you love and lead your family. If you can’t make one woman happy, there’s something you didn’t get when you were alone with God. Your private devotion should overflow into your marriage, bringing joy and stability to your wife, regardless of her past trials or present struggles.
Genesis 1:26-28 says we are made in God’s image and are called to be fruitful and multiply. Your private purity and commitment to God lay the foundation for your children to become like you. Mark 11:22 says, “Have the faith of God.” This means living with integrity, being the same man in private as you are in public.
This is a call to rise above superficial religion and live a life of genuine godliness. Let your private holiness inspire your family and others. Be the man God can trust to lead in these times, not just outwardly but inwardly transformed. Your family’s future depends on it.

Nobody Is Tougher Than You If You Are Born Again

Nobody Is Tougher Than You If You Are Born Again.
Charlie Kirk is way better off than any of us because the reality of that world that you and I have in us—Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27)—is now his reality. It's not just his religion.
When God made man, it was the highlight of creation. God said, “Let us make man,” and then He said something that you find applied to no one else in Scripture. He said, “in our image, after our likeness” (Genesis 1:26 KJV). You were created in God's image; therefore, you can think, act, and live a godly life, just as Jesus did. Being born again (John 3:16), you are connected to your Creator, which empowers you to face challenges and even death as Jesus did because you are alignment with God’s will. We are in the world, but we are not of the world.
Charlie Kirk was not just assassinated. He became a martyr. Almighty God could have stopped this death from happening, but there's something redemptive about his death. Revival is coming through his death. The Bible says, “If we suffer, we shall also reign with him” (2 Timothy 2:12 KJV) and “everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution” (2 Timothy 3:12 NLT).
Christianity is not being taught that way. They tell you to become a Christian and everything will go well for you. That is not in any of the New Testament—from Jesus being martyred, to all the apostles being martyred. Paul, the writer of half of the New Testament—martyred. The Kingdom of God is built on martyrdom and tough times. and nobody is tougher than you, if you are born again. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:6-8).
You were made for tough times. Your life is not about just existing or enjoying personal comforts—it's about fulfilling divine destiny.
This message was recorded at Spring of Life Fellowship in Doral, Florida, pastored by FOIC Bishop Joaquin Molina.

Expect Something Amazing!
There is no explanation for what has happened in my life other than that God did it. Some people said, “I don’t like Black people,” and I spoke in mostly White environments. I am from the ghetto, but I have authored several books with major publishers and my teachings are archived in the Regent University Library. This is you, when God is with you. You can go to nations. There is a seed of amazement in you right now. Go ahead and fulfill that amazement in Jesus.
"Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think."--Ephesians 3:20 NLT
