His Greatness Continues Beyond Your Comfort

His Greatness Continues Beyond Your Comfort.
The right connections give you the strength to fulfill God’s purpose for your life, not for comfort but for your divine assignment. Just as the apostles traveled globally, the church should empower individuals to be so holy and filled with the greatness of God that they will leave behind every comfort to serve beyond their geographical boundaries. This commitment calls for active dedication, not stagnation or convenience, and mirrors the example of Jesus and the biblical apostles, who embraced sacrifice to fulfill their mission.
When Peter in Acts 3:12 healed the man at the gate, he told the people, “Why are you marveling at this? We didn’t do this by our own power, but God’s power and holiness have made this man whole.”
The Kingdom of God unites people of all nations and languages under a shared purpose—to glorify God and serve others according to the assignment God gave us and according to His power within us. Being born again transforms us spiritually, calling us to carry out God’s work through the authority and power rooted in holiness and dedication. Remember, this isn’t a suggestion; it’s a divine command to live out your assignment with faith and courage, trusting in God’s unlimited power and eternal purpose.

The Living God's Greatness in You
Monday May 05, 2025
Monday May 05, 2025
God’s greatness lives in you through the eternal life and transformation found in Jesus Christ. But by surrendering to His will and walking in holiness, you allow His power to shine through you, impacting lives and bearing eternal fruit (1 Peter 1:16, Colossians 1:27). True spiritual authority and transformation come from being set apart, as God commands us to “Be holy” for His glory (2 Corinthians 5:17). God is great in Christ everywhere, and if you've let Him into your heart, His greatness continues in you.

Your Own Greatness

Your Own Greatness. Jesus said in Matthew 23:11 (KJV), “But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant." Let him be your slave. So why did God say more to the slave than He did to the master in Colossians 3 and 4? Because the greatest one was not the master. The greatest one was the slave. The problem with black people is they don't know their own greatness in God. Scriptures: Colossians 3:25, 4:1. 1 Corinthians 1:26 KJV. John 5:44. Matthew 10:39. God Can Create a World Like Me

God Can Create a World Like Me. Many Black people I know have wrong attitudes toward Whites that are the exact opposite of Scripture. They claim to be Christians, but even though you say you serve the Lord Christ, if you carry negative attitudes toward people of another race, it will cost you with God.
God won't excuse your bad attitudes toward another race based on bad experiences or bad things you have heard about them. God has “no partiality” toward people. As the King James translation says, there is "no respect of persons." Be like God toward everybody. No excuses.
Deal with this. In Colossians 3, God didn’t tell slaves to run away. Instead, He adjusted their attitudes toward their masters. In fact, in Colossians 3 and 4 there are four times more warnings about behavior given to slaves than to slave masters. This is radical stuff.
Colossians 3:22-23 (NLT) says. “Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything you do. Try to please them all the time, not just when they are watching you. Serve them sincerely because of your reverent fear of the Lord. Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.”
Compare that long list of warnings he gives to slaves to the one correction he gives to slave masters in Colossians 4:1 (NLT). “Masters, be just and fair to your slaves. Remember that you also have a Master—in heaven."
God evaluates slaves and masters and Blacks and Whites the same way. He watches their attitudes and examines their lives to see if they have the same eternal perspective that He does. His standard is Christlikeness, regardless of our circumstances. He is building an army of righteous people in thought, word, and deed.
God wants you to focus on His way, not your way. He wants to be able to create another world just like you. Say this, “God can create a world like me.”

Why Did God Allow It? Understanding antisemitism, slavery, and troubled marriages

Why Did God Allow it? Understanding antisemitism, slavery, and troubled marriages.
It’s not what you're going through, but how you’re going through it.
The past year in the United States has seen a sharp rise in antisemitism on college campuses. Throughout their history, Jews have suffered persecution. God has always been watching how they respond. In Exodus 23:21, God set broad boundaries for Israel far greater than “From the River to the Sea” that is the battle-cry of their enemies today. The Jews have fought many wars to keep far less land than God gave them originally. When you don't understand with your mind, remember that understanding comes from the heart.
Blacks are still mad at white people and their racial tendencies. When they fuss about Whites, I tell them, “You'll have to fuss at God first.” Why? Because God talks favorably about slavery. Abraham was a patriarch, yet he had slaves. How could God allow that? God didn’t make anybody slaves, except slaves of God, but He allowed it. In Colossians 3, he doesn't tell slave masters to free their slaves. He tells slaves how to treat their masters.
God considers something that is way more important than your conditions. It’s your behavior in the conditions. Your response is more important to God than your circumstances. He could fix slavery in a fiat, but He wants to fix you.
A husband could respond angrily when a wife does the Sistah thing to show her disrespect, but God wants him to respond with love and humility. That takes Christlike character. I learned to humble myself when my wife was not happy with me. No one in my background taught me that. I had to see the principles in Scripture and learn to live them out.
When you go to God and ask, “Why did you allow it?” open your heart. Ask Him to show you His answers in the Word. That will take you to another world. Relationships look a lot different from the view of eternity.

God Has a Process to Prepare You for Battle
You can only take the ground you're prepared for in God. Adam broke the power of creative order that God placed in him when he fell in sin. Jesus broke the power of generational sin that began with Adam. Now we can be born again and we have the potential to overcome and defeat the devil. But we have to train for it.
Your daily persistence to yield yourself to God allows him to prepare you for battles ahead. Your ability to take ground depends on your spiritual preparation in alignment with the principles of Scripture.
God knows you can’t handle everything at first, as a young Christian. In Exodus 23:30, God had to deliver the land to the people of Israel gradually because they needed to grow up in God first. God equips us for the battles ahead by preparing our hearts and minds.
The Pharisees and the disciples in Mark 4 wanted Jesus to allow divorce because Moses did, but He took them back to creation. “In the beginning, it was not so.”
The Bible allows divorce in cases of adultery. A woman does not have to stay if she is being abused, but that does not include disliking him or not getting enough money. She can also abuse her husband with her mouth. Both are accountable to God.
Just as Israel couldn't possess the land overnight, we have to cultivate faith, character, and spiritual strength and sensitivity before we can handle responsibilities. Wait for God. He works according to His own timing. Allow Him to transform you from within. Make the right decisions when you face temptations. Little by little He will allow you to take ground as He sees that you have prepared your heart and entrusted the process to Him.

I Need Thee

I Need Thee. You have to learn how to gather as saints, but you also have to learn how to gather with the heavenly hosts, and in times of prayer you have to know that when you pray, you're not actually alone. There is a great company with you and they want you to pray accurately. They want you to pray accurately not only the word of God, but the vital word of God. That has to do with sensitivity. You are ordained to know that your Father has never left you. He will not forsake you. But you have to cultivate that reality of that. During this leaders' meeting at Advance Church in Washington, DC, everyone sang together the hymn "I Need Thee."Thanks to Carrington Adkins for capturing this message at Advance Church's Leadership Meeting in Bishop Bruce Clark's office.

Favor of God to Do Ministry
Friday Apr 25, 2025
Friday Apr 25, 2025
Favor of God to Do Ministry. The Bible says that He who knew no sin was made sin for you, that you might become the righteousness of God in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:21). That's talking about you. Many people have never received the redemptive work of Jesus Christ, and they're living in sin. Others are saved from hell, but they still live like the devil. You can look at some people who say they are Christian and define themselves that way, but they still live where sin abounds.
The Bible says that where sin abounds, grace even more abounds (Romans 5:20). Grace must abound in you! You are not bound by anything when God's grace is on you. Say, “Favor! Favor! I’ve got favor all over me, in the name of the Lord, I have favor with God. I have favor with men.”
You don’t live with fatalism. You live with favor. Good things are about to happen to you. You are not ordained to be bound to anybody but God. Your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost. When you get free, all the promises of God are Yea and Amen for you. Go to a nation this year!

Prepare for your mission trip now by meeting with God every day! You have Favor Favor.

Expect Something Amazing!
There is no explanation for what has happened in my life other than that God did it. Some people said, “I don’t like Black people,” and I spoke in mostly White environments. I am from the ghetto, but I have authored several books with major publishers and my teachings are archived in the Regent University Library. This is you, when God is with you. You can go to nations. There is a seed of amazement in you right now. Go ahead and fulfill that amazement in Jesus.
"Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think."--Ephesians 3:20 NLT
