Parenting with Eternity in View
Tuesday Nov 11, 2025
Tuesday Nov 11, 2025
Parenting with Eternity in View. This life is your only chance to prepare for the next. There are no do-overs. In Matthew 28, Jesus gave authority only to His disciples—the right people, in the right place, at the right time. The Great Commission is a mandate for obedient disciples, not casual believers.
Your worship, no matter how passionate, is arrogance if it ignores simple obedience. God values obedience over sacrifice and will not reproduce a spirit of rebellion. Every seed reproduces after its kind; private holiness yields holy fruit.
Parents, what is your children’s spiritual condition? We celebrate their worldly achievements, but these are temporary. God is not calling us to success in this world, but to Himself. Eternal priorities must come first.
Are your priorities set for eternity, or just for this temporary life?
This message was recorded in a Leadership Meeting at Advance Church in Washington, DC, pastored by FOIC Bishop Bruce Clark.

Proximity Determines Authority
Friday Nov 07, 2025
Friday Nov 07, 2025
What’s the real source of lasting influence? It’s not your title, resume, or network—it’s your proximity to the One who grants true authority.
In today’s high-achieving world, credentials are king. Degrees, titles, impressive resumes, and social proof all promise opportunity and advancement. Yet, if you’re hungry for meaningful influence and kingdom impact, you need a deeper source.
What if your most effective leadership isn’t built on position or experience, but on nearness to God? This is a life-changing principle that determines not only your authority, but also your legacy.

The Authority to Stand for Righteousness

The Authority to Stand for Righteousness
Fear silences many, but Jesus gave us the authority to take righteous stands. Are you using His authority to stand for righteousness, regardless of the cost?
We fought as a nation for the right to vote and to stand for what is right. Yet today, many shrink back from defending righteousness, while those advancing what is wrong seem emboldened. As Charlie Kirk’s martyrdom shows, even Christians in America may face severe persecution and death for their convictions. This is not about political party or status—it is about taking righteous stands, whatever the cost.
This past weekend, I met with Lt. Governor Winsome Earle-Sears, her husband, and her team—leaders anchored in biblical convictions. When Richmond leaders later asked for the foundation of my stand, the answer came from Jesus himself: “All authority has been given to Me… Go therefore…” (Matthew 28:18–19).
Grateful for the leaders of Advance Church who rose early to seek God’s will. Let’s all resolve to stand boldly for biblical convictions.

Get God's Assignment and Stand in the Gap
Friday Oct 17, 2025
Friday Oct 17, 2025
Get God’s Assignment and Stand in the Gap. Ezekiel 22 says that God sought for a man to stand in the gap but found none. Like Moses felt the burden of a rebellious people (Numbers 11), being a leader requires you to carry the weight of others in prayer and correction according to truth. It's time to stop living by your circumstances and start living by your destiny. Full surrender is required.
Are you ready? God isn't looking for perfect people, but for surrendered hearts. It's time to stop living by your circumstances and start living by your God-given destiny. Your life is meant for His business.
Here is the truth you need for today:Alignment Before Assignment: You cannot be for what God is against. Stand where He stands.Prayer Over Position: Titles don't matter to God. Your power is in the prayer closet.Mission Has a Cost: Your assignment will require your time, your money, and your complete obedience.Destiny Over Circumstance: Give your worries—money, marriage, children—to God and leave them with Him.God may want you to do something planetary through your life, but He cannot take you in the shape you're in. Full surrender is required. Are you ready to give Him everything? Let us know in the comments. Type "I'm in!" to declare your commitment.

Answer Your Kids’ Tough Questions.
Your legacy starts in your home. Are you building a foundation of faith, or letting doubt take root?
We must be ready to answer the world's tough questions, knowing that creation itself points to God (Romans 1:20) and that a fool denies Him (Psalm 14:1).
Biblical history shows us the power of one life. Kings were measured by whether they followed the repentant heart of David or the wicked ways of Jeroboam (1 Kings 15:11). One legacy led to blessing, the other to destruction.
Accept God’s call. Lead your home. Choose David’s lineage by following Jesus.

Jesus, the Prototype: from Noah to New Creation
Friday Oct 10, 2025
Friday Oct 10, 2025
In Genesis, God grieved over a wicked world, yet Noah found favor through righteousness. This story points to a profound spiritual truth for us today.
Just as Noah was set apart, Jesus came as the "last Adam" (1 Cor 15:45) to bring forth a new humanity. Through faith in Him, you are a "new creation" (2 Cor 5:17), a citizen of a heavenly kingdom living on earth. He populates His eternal family not through natural means, but by His powerful Word.
This calling is not for a comfortable life, but a transformed one. God's will is for you to become heavenly on earth, modeling holiness for your family and in your leadership. Jesus is our prototype—He did only what pleased the Father, showing us what we are to become. Our authority to lead and guide others flows directly from our own example of obedience.
If this message encourages you, share it with someone who needs to hear it. How does viewing Jesus as your prototype change the way you approach your daily life?

Expect Something Amazing!
There is no explanation for what has happened in my life other than that God did it. Some people said, “I don’t like Black people,” and I spoke in mostly White environments. I am from the ghetto, but I have authored several books with major publishers and my teachings are archived in the Regent University Library. This is you, when God is with you. You can go to nations. There is a seed of amazement in you right now. Go ahead and fulfill that amazement in Jesus.
"Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think."--Ephesians 3:20 NLT
