God Is Not Confused About Man and Woman. God is not confused!
God's Original Design. Genesis 2:21-22 makes it abundantly clear that God created man and woman with intentionality and purpose. He made Adam first and then from Adam's rib He made a woman to be a suitable helper for him. This order and structure were designed by God, unconfused and complete.
A Clear Truth, Not a Debate. God is not confused, but the world often is. Any challenge to the truth of God's design in Genesis is not just another viewpoint but stands out as an act against God. This truth is crystal clear and should not become the subject of unnecessary debate.
Adam's Role in Affirming God's Purpose. Adam recognized God's work immediately. He said, “This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh” (Genesis 2:23). Here, Adam wasn’t simply naming her “woman,” he was affirming God’s great work and purpose for her. Naming symbolized understanding and responsibility, a task God gave to man.
The Divine Structure of the Family. Adam, under God's guidance, also defined the structure of the family from the very beginning. “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh” (Genesis 2:24). This declaration was not just for Adam and his wife but for the generations to come, establishing the future of the family as ordained by God.
Humanity in Contrast to God’s Deity. When we rely solely on human reasoning instead of God’s divine wisdom, chaos ensues. God gave us His divine nature, creating us in His image and likeness (Genesis 1:27). This equips us with everything needed to understand the truth and live in harmony as God’s children.
Biblical Origins of Responsibility. Ephesians 5:33 reinforces God’s design for relationships, highlighting the mutual respect and love between man and woman. Each man is to love his wife as himself, and each wife is to respect her husband. God never revoked man’s responsibility to define and uphold the order He created.
A Call to Stand for God's Truth. This truth is not hidden; it is right there in the Bible. God’s purposes for man and woman, marriage, and family are clear and unchanging. We are called to align ourselves with His divine design, rejecting confusion and standing firm in God’s truth.
Your Next Step. Meditate on God’s purpose for your life and relationships. Study Genesis 2 and Ephesians 5 further to gain deeper insights into God’s divine plan for man, woman, marriage, and the . Share the truth boldly with others, and live as a representative of God’s image and likeness.
