Don’t Curse the Dark. Become the Light. A challenge to serious Christians to rise up and represent Christ.
Jesus, the Son of Man, lived a life of sacrifice, humility, and unwavering devotion to God’s mission. Luke 9:58 says that He had "nowhere to lay His head," yet He fulfilled His divine purpose, showing us what a true man of God can accomplish. He is the one mediator between God and man (Hebrews 9:15, 1 Timothy 2:5), the perfect example of what it means to live for God’s will on Earth.
This is a call to serious Christians: stop being passive observers and rise up to represent Christ boldly in your life. History shows that devoted Christians—like John Jasper and William Wilberforce—have transformed societies, abolished injustices, and brought revival through their faith and action. Today, God is still moving, as seen in the revival among young people across universities like the Unite US Movement. But are you paying attention, or are you distracted by the noise of the world?
It’s time to stop cursing the darkness and start being the light. Be radical in your faith, even if it means facing criticism from lukewarm Christians or worldly skeptics. Stay focused on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). Your life is meant to reflect the reality of God and inspire others to divine devotion. Don’t settle for mediocrity—embrace your assignment to represent the Creator and make an eternal impact.
